Support CaelLab
Things we make
shouldn't just disappear
A letter from Yunyun
My name is Yunyun, and I founded CaelLab.
In July 2025, I started CaelLab. The idea was simple: build the things I wanted to build, and put them online.
Today, people really use these sites. Someone looks up a word in the encyclopedia. Someone talks about code in the forum. Someone builds a house on our Minecraft server. They are not demos. Where there are people, someone has to keep watch.
Servers and domains have to be renewed every year. There are no ads, and no investors. What keeps them online is the time a few people put in, and the support of those who choose to give it.
I hope they are still here in ten years. There should always be things made by teenagers on the internet.
If you think these things should keep existing, you can give a little. The money goes only to servers, domains, and the upkeep of these sites. Any amount is fine, and if it isn't convenient, that's okay too.
Thank you.
Yunyun
Founder of CaelLab
CaelLab is a youth coding team. These sites carry no ads; they stay online because people choose to support them.
Costs
Where the money goes
CaelLab pays no salaries and rents no office. The money it receives goes to four things only.
Servers and backups
The sites run on rented servers, and the data needs backups.
Domains and certificates
Domains renew every year; when a certificate lapses, the sites go offline.
Bandwidth and storage
Every visit and download takes traffic, and images and files take up space.
Tools
The software and equipment it takes to build and maintain all of this.
FAQ
You might be wondering
What do I get for supporting?
No goods, no membership. What you are supporting is these sites staying online.
Can I give monthly?
Yes, through Afdian. Monthly is steadier than a one-time gift: servers and domains need to be renewed every month.
What if I pay by mistake?
Duplicate payments and wrong amounts can be refunded. Ordinary donations are not.
Will my name be made public?
No, not unless you clearly agree to it.
I'm under 18. Can I still donate?
You'll need a guardian's consent, and the payment must be made from a guardian's account.
Do you provide invoices?
No, only a record of the payment.
How much does all this cost?
It's different every year, mostly depending on renewals and traffic.
